Privacy Policy
We take the protection of personal data seriously. This statement explains which data is processed when you visit 31c-design.com, how we use it, and what rights you have. Last updated: October 2026.
Data controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the provider named in the Imprint, Jurij Chrubasik (31c Creation+Design). The address and contact details can be found in the Imprint.
Hosting
This website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre in Nuremberg, Germany. No content delivery network (CDN) is used.
Hetzner and the service providers commissioned to operate the server process the resulting data solely on our behalf and on our instructions (data processing on behalf of the controller, Art. 28 GDPR). This data is not transferred to countries outside the EU for hosting purposes.
Access data on visit
In order to deliver the website to your browser, the server necessarily processes your IP address and the request information sent by your browser (e.g. requested address, browser type, time). This data is processed only for the duration of the respective connection. We do not keep access logs (server log files) that store IP addresses or browser information.
If a technical error occurs in the application, an error message is logged so that the error can be analysed and fixed. These error logs are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and reliably.
Contact form and email
When you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your information (name, email address, message) in order to handle and answer your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering your inquiry.
The information from the contact form is not stored on the web server; it is delivered to our inbox as an email via the email service GMX (1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Brauerstr. 48, 76135 Karlsruhe, Germany). We also run our email inboxes with this provider; it acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). GMX is a provider based in Germany.
To protect the form against abuse, we limit the number of requests per sender. For this, your IP address is held only in pseudonymised form (as a hash with a random key that exists only in the server's memory) in memory for at most 24 hours and then discarded automatically; it is not written to disk. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against abuse.
Your inquiry is deleted once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Your data is not passed on to any other third parties.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not store any other information on your device (for example in the browser's local storage).
No third-party content
Fonts and videos are served directly from our own server. No third-party content or services are embedded – no analytics or tracking tools, no map services, no embedded videos and no social media plugins. Visiting the website therefore does not transmit any data to third parties.
Third-party websites we link to are only accessed when you follow a link; from then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object to it at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to the contact details given in the Imprint is sufficient to exercise your rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
